The focus of this project was to pick a B-Corporation certified company and create a sustainability report for their company. AeroFarms is a vertical farming company that uses aeroponic technologies to grow leafy greens.
Global warming is the leading cause in sea level rise. The increasing average temperature of the Earth is directly related to the ice sheets melting which is raising the global ocean levels at rates faster than ever. While there is no direct way to make the levels recede, action can be taken to prevent a slower rate of rise. There also has to be preventative action taken to protect the coastal cities of the world as rising sea levels create more powerful storm surges. The destruction hurricanes have caused in recent years shows how important it is that sea levels do not rise any further than they already are.
